What To Expect With The DRX-9000

A pleasant and relaxing experience! During your spinal decompression therapy sessions, you can feel the machine lengthening the spine and relieving the pressure on the discs. The DRX-9000’s computer automatically isolates the treatment area and then gently pulls, holds, and releases the spine in repeating specialized cycles that last for a total of approximately half an hour. The machine gently separates the bones of your spine in a way that reduces pressure within the spinal discs. With this treatment you can expect to relieve pressure and pain, while also creating a negative pressure which allows your degenerated discs to pull in oxygen, nutrients, and fluid to promote healthy healing. This is the result we all want for our patients!

Because the DRX-9000 has highly accurate measuring devices inside the unit, it can alter the force applied to each patient to better suit their specific problem. The machine also monitors and sends feedback to the computers about what corrections to make so that each patient is getting the full therapeutic treatment they need. In fact, the treatment is so effortless and comfortable that some patients end up napping for the duration of their treatment which can typically last from 15-20 minutes
